You are invited to join Dr. Loretta Ford and your colleagues June 9-14 at the AANP 2015 National Conference in New Orleans in celebration of 50 years of nurse practitioners.
Honored guest, Dr. Loretta Ford, cofounder of the first nurse practitioner program in 1965, will speak at the opening general session on Wednesday, June 10. Dr. Ford will share her thoughts about the NP role and help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the NP program.
The opening general session will also feature Grammy award winner Naomi Judd, "Speaking from the Heart" on her years as a registered nurse – years that helped prepare her for the extraordinary life she has led and the life lessons she has learned. Enlightened by her unique experience, Ms. Judd will share her thoughts on health care today as we celebrate the impact NPs are having in advancing access to care and improving patients' lives.
